Business Development Director - APAC and Africa
Mr. Ravit Sachasiri joined Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) in 2020 as the Business Development Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Within the APAC region, Ravit is responsible for working with ASEAN countries as well as to develop NewSpace customers across the entire region. Before joining SSC and moving to Sweden, Ravit lived and worked in Thailand for more than 10 years working with the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA) including responsibilities such as project and contract management for the THEOS-2 Earth Observation satellite program, satellite engineering, Satellite System administration and leading the Space Technology co-creation division. Ravit Sachasiri received the Franco-Thai Government scholarship to pursue his Master’s degree in Satellite Communication from ISAE-SUPAERO in Toulouse, France and prior to that, an Indian government scholarship to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from New Delhi, India.
