1981年、東京大学工学部航空学科修士課程修了（専門 構造設計）。富士重工業株式会社（現SUBARU）入社。航空事業本部にて航空機構造設計、宇宙機開発プロジェクトに従事。1992年6月にアリアンスペース社に入社、東京事務所リエゾン・エンジニアとして日本のお客様とアリアンスペース本社の技術調整支援に従事。1998年、東京事務所副代表に就任。2008年4月、アリアンスペース社東京事務所代表に就任。2014年12月フランス国家功労勲章オフィシエを受章。日本ロケット協会会長。

Kiyoshi A. Takamatsu graduated from the Institute of Space and Aeronautical Science of the University of Tokyo in 1981 with a Master of Engineering degree in structural dynamics of launch vehicles. Before joining Arianespace, he worked for 11 years in the aerospace division of Fuji Heavy Industries (SUBARU). At Fuji Heavy Industries, he worked mainly as Program Manager of various space projects. He joined Arianespace in 1992 as liaison engineer of the Tokyo Office. He worked as Deputy Representative of the Tokyo Office from 1998 to 2008. He was promoted Representative in April 2008. He was awarded the French “Officier de l’Ordre National du Mérite” honour in December 2014. Chairman of the Japanese Rocket Society.
