スペースデブリ除去を含む軌道上サービスに世界で唯一専業として取り組む民間企業アストロスケールホールディングスの創業者兼CEO。2013年の創業以来、5ヶ国でのグローバル展開、400名以上のチーム、累計総額435億円の資金調達を達成するまでに成長。宇宙業界における有識者として、国際宇宙航行連盟（IAF）副会長、The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC)アドバイザリーボード、英国王立航空協会フェロー（FRAeS)、インパクトスタートアップ協会理事等の職務を兼務。2021年まで世界経済フォーラム（ダボス会議）の宇宙評議会共同議長を務めた。大学卒業後大蔵省（現財務省）主計局に勤務、のちマッキンゼー・アンド・カンパニーにて経営コンサルティングに従事。その後IT会社ターボリナックス社をはじめSUGAO PTE. LTD.等、IT業界で10年以上グローバル経営者として、日本、中国、インド、シンガポール等で活躍。著書に『愚直に、考え抜く。』（ダイヤモンド社)

Since its inception in 2013, Nobu has grown Astroscale from a single person to an international group with over 400 team members, established a global footprint in five countries, and raised over USD $376 million. As a highly respected and influential figure in the space industry, Nobu holds several key positions, including International Astronautical Federation’s Vice President for Space Economy and Sponsorship, member of the International Academy of Astronautics, member of the Space Generation Advisory Council Advisory Board, a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and is a director of the Impact Startup Association in Japan. Nobu was co-chair of the World Economic Forum Council Global Future Council on Space Technologies until 2021 and played a key role in developing the concept of a Space Sustainability Rating, a system designed to ensure long-term sustainability by encouraging responsible behavior among countries and companies participating in space. Prior to Astroscale, Nobu was an IT entrepreneur and strategy consultant, and had managed IT companies in Japan, China, India and Singapore. He led one company to a successful IPO. Before joining the IT industry, he worked for McKinsey & Company and the Japanese Government in the Ministry of Finance.
