1992年三菱商事入社以来、一貫して電力ビジネスに従事。中東向け電力設備輸出や欧州海底送電事業、海外IPP事業等を手掛けた後、2020年からは国内電力事業を率いており2021年には国内洋上風力1stラウンド3件の事業権を獲得する等、三菱商事の国内再エネ事業を統括している。現職は三菱商事グループの国内発電事業子会社である三菱商事エナジーソリューションズ㈱社長。

Since joining Mitsubishi Corporation in 1992, he has consistently been engaged in the electric power business. After working on power equipment exports to the Middle East, European submarine power transmission business, overseas IPP business, etc., he has been leading the domestic power business since 2020 such as acquiring the business rights for three domestic offshore wind power projects in the 1st round in 2021.
