米系コンサルティングファームにて、 5 年間で 15 を超えるグローバル企業の新事業/技術戦略策定、企業統治および内部統制強化などに従事。 その後、東京大学での開発途上国の経済成⻑に寄与するエネルギーシステム構築の研究を経て、サウジアラビア、バングラデシュ、ラオス、カンボジア、ケニア、タンザニア、そして日本の被災地等のエネルギー・水・衛生・農業・リサイクルにおける社会課題を解決するプロジェクトに参画。 衛星からの新たな情報によるイノベーションで持続可能な未来を作ることを目指し、2018 年に株式会社 Synspective を創業。

Motoyuki Arai founded Synspective in February 2018. As the CEO, he leads Synspective’s mission, overall strategy, and operations. Moto began his career working at the Tokyo office of a US-based consulting firm for 5 years. He supported more than 15 global companies in designing new business and technology strategies to enhance corporate governance and build the internal controls necessary to run global companies. Moto received his PhD in Technology Management for Innovation from the University of Tokyo. His research focused on the construction of energy systems to promote economic growth in developing countries. Moto then implemented his knowledge of business development to lead projects in areas such as energy, water and sanitation, agriculture, and recycling in Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Laos, Cambodia, Kenya, Tanzania, and disaster-stricken areas in Japan.
